Welcome to our agency,

Specialty Care Services provides home care services which are brought into the home to achieve and sustain an optimum state of health, activity and independence for individuals of all ages. Our primary patient population is adults and the elderly, who require such services because of acute illness, exacerbations of chronic illness, or long-term or permanent limitations due to disability. The primary thrust of Specialty Care Services is to assist the individual in maintaining his/her health, well-being, personal identity, and life style.

Specialty Care Services has several advantages over its competitors in today's market:

 (1) The focus is on the individual in need of care rather than on a group or facility.
 (2) A selection and combination of services are provided to meet specific
       clients' needs at any given time.
 (3) Well qualified, supervised professionals and paraprofessionals are
       utilized to assist in individual health maintenance.
 (4) Each licensed practical nurse and certified nursing assistant is properly
       screened, has a thorough review of references, and meets the necessary
       nursing license and certification prior to employment.
 (5) Therapeutic use is made of the home environment, eliminating the necessity for
       adjustment to an institutional environment.

As the Director of Nursing for Specialty Care Services, it is my responsibility to see that each of our clients receive care from qualified staff who meet our agency standards for competency and performance criteria.

It is my intent that a client is exposed to as few caregivers as possible, in order to maintain care consistency and reduce stress levels where patient care is concerned. At the client's request, a caregiver can be replaced according to compatibility issues.

I am always a phone call away to assist with any clinical issues concerning our clients.
